A Quilt for Heroes

A few months ago we were lucky enough to be invited to the Fleetwood Patchworkers who are a small but very friendly and cheerful group.  We took along our fabrics and showed them a demonstration on how to do quick and easy applique stars, it was a great afternoon.  From showing them how to do just one star they managed to make a stunning quilt together as a group (shown above) in aid of the Quilts of Valour foundation.  A huge thank you to the Fleetwood Patchworkers for allowing us to share this and for being so welcoming.

...and it really suprised me considering he was born in Scotland!  Good job.
